Q: Are my deposit accounts FDIC insured?
A: Yes! Each individual customer's account is insured by the FDIC up to $250,000 per depositor.
Q: What is NewDominion Bank's routing number?
A: Our routing number is 053012582.
Q: How do I open an account?
A: You can either stop by one of our locations or apply online through our secure application process.
Q: What products can I apply for online?
A: We have a variety of business and personal accounts. A variety of personal accounts can be opened online. When you find the account you are interested, click the "Apply Now" button to get started.
Q: Do you offer IRAs online?
A: Not currently, however, our Customer Service Representatives are available to assist you during office hours. Stop by one of our locations and they'll be more than happy to assist you.
Q: Can I open my account in the name of my Trust?
A: Yes! Although our online application does not ask if the account will be titled in the name of the Trust, you can send us a copy of the first and last page of the Trust document and we manually open the account in the Trust name.
Q: How do I set up Direct Deposit of my Social Security check?
A: You may set up direct deposit of your Social Security check directly with the Social Security office. Provide them with our routing number (053012582) and your account number.
Q: Can I get information about my account by phone?
A: Yes! Account information is available with our Customer Service Representatives during business hours.
Q: Is interest paid on my checking account?
A: Yes! If you want a checking account that pays a market rate of interest, check out our First Rate Checking account.
Q: Are wire transfers possible to and from my checking account?
A: Yes! Funds can be transferred to and from accounts by wire transfer. Contact us for details.
Q: Can I open an account if I don't live in the United States? What if I live in the United States but am not a citizen yet?
A: At this time, we only accept applications from persons residing within the United States with valid U.S. tax identification numbers (Social Security Numbers). If you have questions, contact us. We'd like to hear from you.
Q: Can I do all of my banking with you?
A: Yes! Thanks to the convenience of Direct Deposit and ATMs, everyday banking activities can be performed on your own time. Contact us with questions about your banking needs.
Q: Can I look at all of my transactions at any time?
A: Yes! With Online Banking, you have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
Q: How frequently is my information updated?
A: Your account information is updated every business day with new transactions that posted to your account the previous day.
Q: How do I make a deposit to my account from a remote location?
A: You can do most of your banking online or by using direct deposit, ATMs or ACH (Automated Clearing House) transactions. We also offer a bank-by-mail service, which allows you to mail non-recurring deposits. Contact us for details on a method that's best for you.
Q: I didn't receive my 1099. Can I see it online?
A: 1099 documents are mailed the last week of January. At this time, 1099s are not available through Online Banking. If you did not receive a 1099, please contact our Solutions Center at (800) 592-6248 in order to obtain a duplicate copy.
Q: I've moved. How do I change my address?
A: The easiest way to notify us of an address change is through your OnLine Banking. Once you have logged in, use the "Contact Us" link in the upper right hand corner to send us a secure message instructing us to change your address. If you do not have OnLine Banking, please contact our Solutions Center at (800) 592-6248 to request an Information Change Request Form.
